King Of Good Times

I stole the title of this post from Kingfisher’s punch line. Since this website is not (yet) so popular, I can afford to do that. For some reason, I think I’m the undisputed King of good times. By the way, I’m not at all interested in knowing your comments. So relax and read further.

Lately, I made few interesting discoveries. I’ll share one of them here and save others for my future posts -> my simple weasel technique to keep people coming to this place. I bet my $0.02 on the fact that no one loves to see that you are having fun! This is weird. Why should anyone care when you are having fun? But people do! They do it even if you don’t want them to. You have no control!

I strictly believe that you should love what you are doing. If not, you are wasting world’s time and space. It doesn’t help if you keep a serious face and ‘act’ as if you are doing a ‘great’ job. Its common sense. How can you be ‘serious faced’, ‘worried’, ‘angry’, ‘tired’ while doing a fantastic job?

99% of the times, I’m happy & having fun. There’s no point in losing your temper and worrying about something which ‘might’ happen or ‘has’ happened. The cooler your mind is, the better you are prepared to face any situation. Doesn’t that make sense? I’ve seen people mess up badly once they lose temper. Of course, I do lose my temper too. But its just momentory. It takes me max. 5 seconds to cool down. If something goes terribly wrong, I tell myself that Murphy’s law is proving its veracity. I don’t worry about things I can’t change. But there’s one thing – (in 99.99% of the cases)your future is determined by what you are doing right now.

Sometimes, I get a ‘blank mind’. I use Donald Trump’s technique to overcome the ‘blank mind’ state. I ask myself “What Should I Be Thinking About Right Now?”. It gives me back my focus. Once that’s done, I’m again the king of good times.

[Off Topic]

I must admit that my Spoken English skills have been degrading everyday since last 1.5 years. At few occassions, I found myself searching for good English words. I’m a bad speller now. This is something I must work on. This is something I’m going to have good time with.

Have a good time,

-The Big K-
