Spotting stupidity is an art. A superblogger can spot stupidity in almost anything that regular folks consider as ‘cool’.
Yep, its with the headlights of motorcycles.
I fail to understand the logic behind those scary looking headlights in modern motorcycles in India. Yes, technically, they brighten up 170% more (I read somewhere).
But why make them scary?
My friend Gary (now-a-days, he’s a friend for the name’s sake. Good life, Gary!) wants to buy a new motorcycle. I think he’s already made up his mind. However, I think it would have been difficult for him to make a choice. I don’t see anything ‘new’ or ‘innovative’ in every new bike that appears in the market every other month. Following are the two things that are redesigned and added to every new model –
- The headlight: The scarier the headlight, the costlier the bike.
- The fiber body: Umm, the more the fiber, the more the cost. The trick motorcycle manufacturers use is that they redesign the fiber body and make the bike look bulkier. One motorcycle company ( I don’t remember the name ) shamelessly advertises its motorcycle as a ‘bull’ and says “muscles matter” (or fiber matters?)
Good night! (yawn)
