Since past few days, I’m more tilted towards plain text than HTML. I’ve been writing most of the e-mails using plain text than HTML. I think plain text formatting is way better than HTML; when it comes to email. I’ve also realized that lots of BIG PEOPLE do not have Microsoft Word installed on their machines. They insist on usage of RTF (Rich Text Format) if you must use all the fancy stuff in your documents. Otherwise, they just ask [...]
Right now @ 6:00 am, I’m at Mumbai Airport, waiting for the departure call for my flight. I came to Mumbai yesterday to attend CE Mumbai Meet. Mumbai meet was successful, we had CEans from Pune & Mumbai who came together at Cafe Coffee Day near to Shivaji Park in Dadar. So, here I am at the Mumbai airport – and its the uncleanest airport I’ve ever seen in life. Couple of minutes ago, I asked the man sitting in [...]
So, it took me longer than usual to complete me online tasks and I hit the bed at about 2:30 am. I was deep into sleep the very next moment. Suddenly, I felt something strange was happening around me. Breeze of cold air flew in through the open windows all of sudden, window panes began shaking, before I realized anything, my bed was shaking too. I couldn’t make out what was happening, but I knew, something was wrong. It was [...]
I’m a proud owner of Dell XPS m1210. The machine does an amazing job. The only thing that could have been improved is the battery life. Today, I received a new battery [6 cell, because 9 cell battery looks ugly] for my laptop and this post comes from the newly charged Dell XPS! Yay, I’m sure you can feel the difference. Dell folks – you make good laptops. Just pay more attention to battery life of your machines.

I’ve been told – “Your English is good”. I think its a good compliment. English is not my first language. I studied in a Marathi medium school and the only subjects that were taught in English were science & mathematics. I personally think my English is not good and I still struggle with grammar. Yeh, I’ve realized that I’m better at writing emails/blog-posts than most other convent-fellas. Over the years, I’ve realized, people really suck at writing email subject! Yes, [...]
The Google Chrome mania has died down – at least for me. I was one of the first few (thousand) people on the planet who downloaded Google Chrome on the day it was released. But after using it for few days, I’ve decided to go back to Firefox. The decision is simple – I’m more comfortable with Firefox. I don’t care the about the latest ‘innovations’ by Google that went into Chrome. I’m a normal user who does not open [...]
