I’m a big fan of Mozilla’s Firefox browser. The browser does fantastic job of rendering complex web pages andΒ  its amazingly faster.

But the inbult download manager is just pathetic!

Yesterday, I tried downloading ubuntu iso from their official download site. The download worked fine until I had to pause. I paused the download, reconnected my broadband connection and woa! The download manager started downloading from byte 01 ! πŸ™ ! Whole 634 MB were wasted!

Anyway, I believe its too much to expect Firefox to handle the downloads. I’ll stick to Orbit Downloader which is doing a fantastic job now.

Mozilla – if you are reading this post, please work on the download manager!

    Use Thirf Party Downloaders
    If you have part file.
Then remove .part from the file and open with any third party downloader.
it works to resumw broken download
