Indian Reporter: Mr. President, what is America doing to help India tackle terrorism emanating from Pakistan?
Mr. Obama: Your Prime Minister is a wonderful man.
In the nuclear world, the biggest enemy in front of India & Pakistan is poverty.
I spoke to Mr. Manmohan Singh on much wider issues.
America must lead by example by reducing the carbon footprint.
…blah…blah…
I give you 0 on 10 for a vague answer to a very important question, Mr. Obama. Where’s the change?
Seeing is believing:

That is an amazing post and I too would award a big ZERO for the answer he gave, but here are pointers that you have to understand.
– The question asked was very sensitive, and leaking out the actual plans can destroy US’s campaign in finding Osama.
How you may ask… US today is giving Billions of dollars to Pakistan as aid to help track Bin Laden. So basically US need Pakistan, if Obama would have got into the detail then he would / could help India… this surely upset his friends in Pakistan and all the money given as aid to Pakistan would go down the drain.
My advice, nuke Pakistan that would surely kill Osama!!

@ d_minor:
He could simply say “This question is very sensitive. We are concerned about the problem of terrorism in both the countries. We’ll let our actions speak.”

Conversation with a good orator even if he is the President of US doesn’t necessarily mean he has the answers to questions asked!

Nuke Pakistan? *rolls eyes*

I have seen the video clip on youtube and I must say, Obama was highly diplomatic in answering that question. Moreover he tried to deviate from the question by cracking a mindless joke at the start of the answer.
Whichever ways, Obama is a good orator. But I doubt if he will be effective enough

@Mayur: Do you think that was a diplomatic answer? I think it was a vague answer not at all expected from Obama.
