Reliance Customer Care: Get Bigger Mailboxes!

Reliance computers take about 3 days to update records for a bill paid through their online payment system which is down most of the times. I’m a user of Reliance NetConnect since almost 1.5 years and haven’t been quite happy with the overall quality of service. Today, I got a mail from the Reliance folks [3 days after paying the bill] that I haven’t paid the bill. I checked my online bill payment history on THEIR site and the bill status is ‘paid’. So I replied back saying I’ve already paid the bill and it reflects in their online payment system. Here’s what I received in my mailbox –

Subject: Re: Alert – Payment due-date crossed

Your message cannot be delivered to the following recipients:

Recipient address: EBill@relianceservice.co.in
Reason: Over quota

This leads to following conclusions –

  1. Reliance, although it owns a data center, does not allow huge mailboxes for customer care departments.
  2. The quality of Reliance service is SO BAD that no matter how big their mailbox is, it’s always flooded with user complaints.

I hope Reliance will upgrade its mailboxes soon.

The Big K
