Why are Australians so racist & Indians so smart?

I went to Google to find out some information about the recent attack on Indian student in Australia. The latest one [Oct. 2, 09] generated my curiosity about what’s going on in Australia and why they are attacking Indians. Google.com’s ‘suggest’ feature shows (I believe) common searches through their search engines in their search box when you type something.

I typed “Why are australians” and Google suggested -

Looks like lot of people are searching for “Why are Australians so racist!

So, I went ahead and searched for “why are indians” and Google suggested -

Australia is more of a diversified ( trust me) country, with people coming from numerous countries. There are no such native Australians , native are Aboriginals who are the tribal community.So, when you say Australians being racist, I can direct the arrow to only a specific other race / one amongst the races which have made Oz as their home.
I would rather say it depends where you go, at what time you go and other small things which needs to be taken care of. People have tendency to booze almost everyday and in places which are quite well known as ‘not so safe’ its better to be home after specific time.Shops close by 5 pm everyday,everywhere and traffic is almost zero by 8 pm. and only shops which are open are BWS( beer, wine, spirits) and restraunts, so after 7/8 people are either home done with dinner or will be found squashing or drinking and under the influence of alcohol,dope, you really dont know what you are doing.

No place is as such safe anywhere after a specific time right? as well depends on populus in that area where the assaults happen.

As far as second question:
I think everyone is smart else whole if NASA,INTEL would b only INDIANS infact they would be based in INDIA itself.
I dont say INDIANS are NOT SMARTER, i am just saying everyone else are too! and what more if we were so smart , we would have better traffic conditions, we would have better energy management, better rain water management, better environement awareness!.

I found that deep inside a lot of Australians are very racist. In my opinion this may be resulted from their inferior history as convicts from the UK. Ever heard that the abused often becomes the abuser? A lot of Australians lack of self-respect, hence they have to look down on people of different origin in order to feel superior.

  Yes, there’s some truth in that. But also, a lot of Anglo Australians (“old Australians) have non-White blood in them. Not just Aboriginal blood (which many Anglo Australians would be somewhat aware of) but also East Indian blood, which may come as a surprise, but here’s the explanation: many of the original prisoners from England were “Romanichals”, or Roma Gypsies, who have their roots in India. (That they’re from India has always been known from their language, and is now indisputable from DNA detection.) Historical records will show that being Romani in much of 17 & 1800s England automatically made you a criminal; i.e. a Romanichal did not have to actually commit a crime to be arrested and jailed.
  
  If Anglo Australians doubt as to what I say (especially about Romanichal, and therefore East indian blood-lines), they merely need to get a DNA test done. There are various facilities that can do this, but I shan’t mention them here for fear of being seen as advertising for them.

  lol obviously if all indians are smart then you are an exception… seeing as you can’t even spell (more smarter???). and yes, some aussies are racist, just as there are racists in every country. this is like people who assume all arabs are terrorists, which is not true. i expect the reason a lot of indian students are smarter is because they work harder, not because of some unexplained superiority in intelligence. try not to make generalisations, it is a sign of a lack of intelligence.

  You will never find the REAL culprits, the dangerous racists who can pretend so well that they are not. Indeed, you should have sympathy for the kind of “racist” who feels resentment toward large influexes of non-English speaking migrants, because he/she is merely concerned that these people will under-sell him/his native born children in the labour market. That’s not “racism”, it’s just concern for one’s own survival and security, and that of one’s family and progeny.

Hi, I would like to tell few words on this topic. Almost all the Indians seems to be and are brainy because the modern education system seems to silly for most of the Indians as they are all culitivated with Vedic Science from thousands of years where in to understand the Vedic Chants/ Shlokas, our ancients have spent a lot of time on spirutiality/ mythology/ etymology/ numerology e.t.c and those have tuned Indian minds in Logical and Practical aspects.

The modern syllabus of education system seems to be very easy in front of Vedic studies because the books (Vedas, Vedangas, Puranas, Itihaasa{Mahabharata and Ramayana}) can be interpreted in 100’s of meanings and these were the syllabus for a kid studying in class 1 to the student of top most education level(masters) under Gurukula Education System. Hence the text/ syllabus needs to be strong enough to serve a person through his entire student life: having infinite puzzles, meanings, etymological interpretations, numerology, psychology, ayurveda (medicine), astrology and astrnomy e.t.c in the same syllabus.

As Indians are used to these type of studies {Remind : Sanskrit is not having literature, hence currently using 4 different LIPI’S (literature) in India called Deva-Nagari, Nanda-Nagari, Prakrit and Grantha-Akshara. Our ancients used to remember these Vedas and to pass it on to next generation called Shruti (listening) and Smriti(memorization/ contemplation)} with all their intelligence spent to understand all the sciences that has been told in Vedas. Hence they find modern education system comparitively easier and they(almost all of them) are surely the leaders in it as new education system’s compartmentalisation.

Few years (decades) back the term Globalisation was introduced (in INDIA)mainly by US & UK people to move their products across the country and globe, India being the vast and versatile market. So, Indians were exposed to western way of life style and educational system and are leading in it due to the above reasons and finding the suitable position as a reward for thier intelligence. But its not tolerated by psuedo globalists, it means that they want India as a market for them to make money. If Indians are intelligents and earning money (ofcourse they are known for their Character & ModestY, these people will not tolerate. This is the bitter truth. Lets hope one day, rest of the world will come to know the heights of Indians and their services abroad and will be welcomed with red carpets.

  Whoa! Wait a minute. Vedic science and the Sanskrit language are indeed admirable==in their uncorrupted form. But what I’ve seen of Indian education is not good at all. OK maybe I have not come across GOOD examples, but I cannot see how what I’ve seen is an isolated case. The main problem is “education by memorization”, by passing tests—and little else. To add to the inneffciency, “education as a matter of arduous and distasteful duty”, which “the West” suffers from also.

What Sri has to say is by far the best explanation I have come across that suits the words BULL SHIT!

i think i will be neutral on this subject. I dont want to be racist, even though there were attcks on indians in Oz. But that certainly does not mean that all australians are racist! And yes, i am an indian and proud to be cause we are so smart (lol). Actually, everyone on earth is smart and we should not stereotype people based on their color, religion, race or caste. We should all consider ourselves as humans.

Funny that Indians kicked up a massive stink because some delinquents did what they did. And I dont think its a stretch to say that idiots like that are quite often uneducated and racist. What I find amazing is that they forget the Australian missionary, Graham Staines, who in ’99, along with his two sons, were BURNT TO DEATH by Hindu zealots. Indian cabbie bashed by idiots = International incident, Aussie missionary killed = “He must have been in the wrong place at the wrong time”. I dont condone either act, but it goes to prove that there’s racism on both sides, however Australians are a little less reactionary than Indians, which kinda disproves the “Indians = Smarter” idea.
