An entrepreneur is not someone who can’t get a job!

The sorry state of entrepreneurship among Maharashtrians continues and I don’t see it dying in near future. I’m amazed how easily people think of an entrepreneur as someone who can’t get a job! People still think that entrepreneurship is the last option to consider when you can’t get a job in the industry. I really hope people start worshiping entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurship culture. Because entrepreneurs are the ones who create jobs.

I really wonder why students who’re just out of colleges care so much about getting a monthly pay-check. Come on folks, you won’t die of starvation if you don’t get a job. If you were not picked up by Infosys, TCS or Intel; that doesn’t mean you have no future. Even Einstein was thrown out of his class by teacher because he couldn’t answer simple questions. Get that damned fear of failure (or being called one by the society) out of your mind. The truth is, no matter how important you are, no one in the society cares what you do or how you make money. Its just you and your own damned mind that gives you all the jitters, fears and worries.

Don’t you ever get inspired by the real life stories of people who were born ordinary and build their own fortune? Don’t you want to be like them? If yes, are you just wasting your time preparing for aptitude tests to crack those entrance exams?

Think think think. Think!! you idiot!

If the student has enough money to invest in business means it is ok big_k. How about the students studying by getting the loan? The companies ready to lose their money in just advertisements and making their products more popular. How about the start ups? How could the start ups invest that much amount in advertising ?

Tell me the ways that start ups can attract clients ?
Tell me the ways that make the start up become more popular?

I like your motivation towards entrepreneurship .. and whenever I see your any post related to entrepreneurship I do reed it either later or early .But biggie who told you should get MBA I say you got knowledge of MBA even MBA fails in taking decisions of life (Specially they are only going after job seeking not entrepreneurship ) very less MBA’s go to entrepreneurship .
MBA is not a ticket to job, It gives you skills not job.

@ms_cs. I think primarily entrepreneurship is not about skills or knowledge. Of course you should have knowhow of the field in which you are setting the business in.

But an entrepreneur should have values like persistence, hard work, etc. I think persistence is the most difficult thing to do. To keep trying in the face of failure.
