While we were listening to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s speech…

…there were couple of idiots around me who were desperately trying to note the ‘important points’ from the speech. Now you may say that its alright to note down the points. But you know what? I observed notepads of about 4-5 of them and all they had were 3-4 useless words. I seriously doubt those (key)words would help them remember the speech or even the points Dr. Kalam was trying to make.

Dr. Kalam was trying to explain the importance of a questioning mind and power of imagination with examples. Had they paid attention to him, they’d have gathered lot of great information. But it looked to me that they were taught to trust their notepads more than their own memory.

There’s no point in expecting anything from idiots who don’t apply their mind to anything. The responsibility of turning the Vision 2020 dream into reality now lies on you and me.
