Dear Mr. Manmohan Singh,
You and your Congress party have ruled India for many decades. Your party has been in power since India got independence. I am not happy with the way you and your party rule India and have ruled in the past. When I look at other countries that made lot of progress in short time, I feel bad for my country. Your party could have put India on fast track of progress. Now don’t give me that freaky 8% growth rate figure.
To begin with, I want all of India’s money deposited in Swiss banks back. No one knows how much money Swiss bank holds from Indians; but the estimates range between 1.5 trillion USD to 5 trillion USD. If you are unable to bring the money back and can’t pass a bill in the parliament to bring it back; shall I assume that most of your party’s politicians have accounts in Swiss Bank who are obviously not willing to get exposed? But let them go into hiding. I trust you. You do something and bring the money back.
With the money, you can create lot of opportunities, provide basic health-care, cleanliness, great roads and jobs for every Indian. We will be able to enjoy high standards of living like people in other countries do. We will be able to provide education to children everywhere in India and there won’t be ‘rural India’ anymore.
I am sick of seeing poor people on the roads who don’t have enough to eat. The government will be able to promote local products and also create Indian answers to top multinational brands. I won’t then have to spend Rs. 3000 on shorts by Benetton.
The overall activity will also improve the value of Rupee in the global market. We’ll be able to afford foreign travel every six months and that too, with all the luxury.
…and if you do it, people will be very happy. They will vote you to power again.
But why should you care? People will vote for your party anyway.
