My mom always tells me, “Don’t try to shut people’s mouth. They have limited intelligence and they evaluate their surroundings with their capacity”. That is one of the main reasons, I stopped kicking people’s butt. Since most of the people around me don’t have enough intelligence to understand what I do for a living, they have few misconceptions about my profession. Here are few of them -

Biggie, even I don't know exactly what do you do for a living. You can always explain them right? Everyone can't have same level of intelligence, and that in away is smoothly running the society.
Yes, I can explain and many times I do. But it requires knowledge of Internet which is rare among those who ask me what I do. Anyway. I only want that those who do not understand anything about my profession, shouldn't talk negative about it. If one does not understand anything about entrepreneurship, he/she should not talk negative about entrepreneurship.
I talk about software engineers because I've spent good 3.5 years in the Industry being one. I know the positives and negatives.
Anyway.

Look at the human living cycle.
Born, Grown, Loaded with basic degree, send to work under someone as employee , mingle in the name of marriage, lay eggs, die …. the cycle goes onn & on & so on.
There are Four categories in Life,
E – SE – B – I
E & SE falls to 97% of the world population.
B & I falls the rest 3% who manages the entire 97%.
Employers & Self Employers were been managed by Business & Investors.

people here are ignorant about several issues. Understand one thing, before every great innovation, the innovator had been called a 'madman'. It was only after the innovation showed its colours, did the innovator become a 'great innovator. Often it takes entire lifetime or maybe even more than that to make people realise the worth of an innovation or discovery(Galileo?).
CE is something relatively new, people won't realise what it is now. I see such similar real life examples everywhere.:(
