Do You Have An Opinion?

From what I’ve observed, my opinion is that most of the people (almost 99%) do not have an opinion about things. Not that it’s a ‘must’, but I think everyone should have an opinion about stuff they see, feel and experience around them.

People will generally believe any crap they listen to multiple times. For example, you always new you wanted to be a doctor but everyone around you said, “Medical studies will take forever to complete and doctors take long time to settle in life. So better go for Engineering”. Or the ‘classic’, “It’s always better to appear for both CET & PMT so that all the options are open – if you get good score in CET, you become engineer and if you get good rank in PMT, you become a doctor”. You didn’t have an opinion of your own, so you sat for both PMT & CET (and scored equally bad in both of them).

If 3-4 people tell you XYZ is really really awesome; you will start believing XYZ is really really awesome, no matter what your brain tells you. Ultimately, you’ll join the group that says ‘XYZ’ is really really awesome. And why’d you do this? Because –

  1. It makes you a part of the group than someone who differs from ‘general opinion’.
  2. You don’t have to use your own brain.

…and how does this affect you? Well, you end up being just like everyone else around you.

Have you ever ‘really’ used your brain to form an opinion, to solve a problem, to appreciate something, to decide something?

Yes in our society Opinion Matters !

I find most of them, tend to work on domestic call centers even after they engineering graduate.

Hmmm, looking at financial and job crisis , ok for certain time call center is good. But when they will work for their actual degree they own…
