Short while ago, I was standing in a group and I said, “I like Rajnikanth & his movies”. Almost everyone in the group stared at me as if I said something totally offensive. One of them even asked me if I was being “Sarcastic”. “Why sarcastic? Can’t I like Rajnikanth?”

I mean, why do you raise your eyebrows when I say I like Rajnikanth? You like Shah Rukh Khan. I like Rajnikanth and I don’t raise eyebrows when you say, “I love Om Shanti Om”.

I loved ‘Sivaji – The Boss’ – Rajni’s last film. I saw the Telugu version of it as Hindi wasn’t released then. Well I didn’t understand the dialogues, but I enjoyed it more than “Chak De”…whatever!

So I’m going to watch Rajni’s ROBOT tonight and I’ve already bought the club tickets. No matter how the film is, I’m going to like it for Rajni’s style. Nothing will ever come closer to it.
