I think I’ve said enough about the city and what I dislike about it. I think I should clarify few things and the reason why I started disliking Pune.

I’ve lived in Pune for long enough to comment about the life and actually experience the things Punekars usually brag about. I’d have had no problems with it until they started looking down on me and making ‘general comments’ about people living in other cities that they live in ‘Villages’. That is ‘Pune’ is the only ‘City’ and everything else is ‘Village’.

There were couple of people who actually ‘laughed‘ at me when I thought of not settling down in Pune. I couldn’t digest that! It’s usually very easy to get into debate with “Punekars”. Of course, they couldn’t counter my points and had to shut their mouth. However, they had no option to stay with their opinions because their employers were in Pune.

Here’s my advise to boastful Punekars: Live life happily in your heaven. I’ll be happy for you. But don’t boast about it and look down on others. We enjoy a better quality of life than you do, but we don’t boast about it. Hope you understand this.

Note: This is my last post on the topic.

Your experience about the city is formed by the people you interact there. For those, who have been in a city and it is the only city they have ever been to…for them it is the world. Each city has its own pros and cons and at the end it all boils down to what you yourself want!!

In my opinion, I had found Pune to be a better city than the other two metros I have lived in !!

I personally never liked Metro life and I totally agree that it boils down to what you yourself want. However, my problem is that I can't tolerate non-sense. In my city, we enjoy everything what Puneites enjoy and few even better; but people here don't boast about it (and why should they?).

I seriously hate it when people advise me to settle down in Pune and tell me how I'm missing 'Life' by not choosing to stay in Pune. Give me a break!

People usually complain that Pune has a faster 'pace' to life and I don't really get it. For me, being in control of my own schedule defines how fast or slow my life is.

      People are insane!
