Ankit Fadia – Copy Paste Wonder?

Ankit Fadia knows more about computers than you and I. He surely knows much more than any average computer, networking guy. But is he the real wonder-kid that the Indian press once called him?

First of all, I’m not jealous of Mr. Fadia’s success or the money he’s making through Ethical Hacking Courses and his books. However, I made few shocking discoveries on the Internet that I thought I must share with you. The discoveries (I’m sharing below) makes me think how ethical Mr. Fadia is.

Attrition.org says Mr. Fadia’s first book “Unofficial Guide To Ethical Hacking” which he wrote at the age of 14 is 32% plagiarized. Here’s the proof –

Other book “Network Intrusion Alert“, co-authored with Mr. Manu Zacharia is also on the same lines –

Ankit Fadia was also the “MTV Youth Icon 2008”. I know lot of people who idolize Ankit and are ready to spend thousands of bucks to attend his ethical hacking courses.

I sometimes wonder, whether Indians can ever do anything original or without copy-pasting. Our movies (by the way, for your information Tees Maar Khan is a copy of Hollywoods “After The Fox”), our music, our reality shows, our soaps are all copy-pasts of western counterparts.

Why is India full of such people?

Also, should Indians idolize Ankit Fadia?

“Why is India full of copy-paste people?” Its nor easy to answer this question. One reason could be, we want MONEY MONEY MONEY and that too QUICK QUICK QUICK. Maybe: more population, more competition, less space, monstrous property rates, need of quick money, who wants to think-create-innovate… blah blah

I am computer engg and have enough¬†knowledge¬†about computer and if i discover something new and wants to write a book how m i gonna do it.¬†Off course¬†i will use my basic words that i studied during my engineering. Suppose i am writing about Networks and if i say there are seven layers ….and so on and further my own words with what i found new. Is it a copy? BECAUSE I AM USING WORDS FROM¬†TANNENBAUM¬†COMPUTER NETWORKS. No am just not, i just using startup words to complete my findings. and this is how ANKIT FADIA did and used few basic words as quoted by site as copied. Sorry fox, ANKIT FADIA did not copy any findings from these articles. If you find me wrong please download each and every¬†reference¬†and compare it. You will get mere a few words same. WE ARE PROUD OF ANKIT FADIA WHO IS INDIAN LEGEND.

Indian: You should first check out the links mentioned in the post and then form your opinion about Ankit Fadia. First of all, writing something in your own words does not make you an expert in the topic. It’s not a news article which gets reprinted everywhere. Ankit Fadia wrote books by simply using other people’s hardware and not even obtaining their permission to do so.¬†

But that’s not the problem. He does not even mention the sources from where he’s obtained the help from.¬†

Ken, you are right and i¬†believe¬†the same before making any conclusion. I have downloaded all the articles and Ankit’s book and have spent whole day in comparing each and every part of the articles. I have not found anything wrong and i found above conclusion to be correct on my study. All the articles have some or the other matching matter which seems to be basics of hacking. This does not conclude a copy.

i missed “people’s hardware”, is it a big thing to refer when there are giants such as google, microsoft and Apple, steals complete code and lable it with there name and says there new product.

We’re just a tech news blog and *NOT* the originator of the news. Secondly, we do *NOT* copy paste articles. Rather, analyze tech news and present it to audience in simple yet interesting manner. Thirdly, we do *NOT* make false claims – every news source carries information about the source.

I hope you are familiar with the concept of ‘Online Newspapers’.

PS: Use your real email ID and name, Fake Ankit Fadia.
