Why Art Of Living Courses Aren’t FREE?

I’ve been hearing a lot about Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art Of Living Courses. Many of you have already attended them, either by shelling money out of your pockets or having your employers do it for you (with a hope that you’ll be geniunely interested in office work šŸ˜‰ ).

One thing is sure – people do feelĀ benefitedĀ after attending the course. I haven’t attended the course simply because I think I’d not spend money to re-learn what I already know. So here’s a question – if Art Of Living courses areĀ beneficialĀ to everyone, why aren’t these free?

My question assumes that Art Of Living Course teach similar things taught by our very own Baba Ramdev, in a bit different manner. The ‘Yoga‘ Yog is the same, the teachings of our earlier generations are the same, only the medium of delivery is different – and it can very well be free.

I understand that any organization needs money to run – but then it can work on similar principle as Baba Ramdev’s. Ask for donations from those who’re willing to donate and have the wealthy people pay to sit in the front rows. But knowledge, which is useful for everyone, should be given out for free.

I think Art Of Living Courses should be aired via TV channel for the betterment of mankind.
