You can’t learn to swim by reading a book

Entrepreneurship and working for startups isn’t an easy thing. Entrepreneurship teaches you things you’d not normally do or want to do. It’s the higher goal that makes you things that you thought won’t ever do. It makes you take up responsibility. It gives you moments when you have to say “Screw It! Let’s Do It!”. Of course, it’s not easy; but there’s always first time. The key is to get a variety of these ‘first times’.

So there will be a first time, you will have to make a call to a CEO of a big company. There will be first time when you will have to talk to complete strangers who can give you business. There will a first time when you’ll have to address a public gathering. There will be a first time you will have to demo your product. There will be a first time you’ll have to just motivate yourself. There will be first time when people will laugh at you.

Running away from these ‘first times’ isn’t an option.
