Me playing Neele Neele Ambar Par on Acoustic Guitar

By on Jul 27, 2008 in Wisdom | 15 comments

This is me playing (& singing 😉 ) Neele Neele Ambar Par on my Acoustic Guitar – “Neele Neele Ambar Par” is ‘THE ONE’ song every Indian guitarist wants to play on his guitar – because of the amazing guitar interludes it has! I used to play this song for my friends during my engineering days. I recorded above video last year and posted on YouTube. The video got tremendous response – with over 9,000 views and Five Stars – (44 ratings). I’m very happy that everyone liked the video. Thanks everyone! 🙂 Play it and tell me what you think! Awaiting your comments! –The Big...

The Big K’s letter to God

By on Jul 15, 2008 in Wisdom | 6 comments

Dear God, I don’t know if you read my blog. Few people even doubt about your existence. My common sense based thinking tells me that you do exist; simply because there must be someone who created this universe so well. Probably you are not like the one they show in TV. But I know you exist for sure. So, if you are reading this blog, I’ve few things to tell you. First of all, you will agree that I haven’t bothered you since last so many days (years, maybe). I haven’t been to any temple. You know I blink my eyes whenever I pass by your photograph in the kitchen; but that’s it. Long back, I made a promise that I won’t disturb you because you’ve a lot on your mind already. I’ve been secretly helping you by making people realize the stupidity in their normal acts so that they become less stupid every new day. I did have some wishes in my mind...

Big K Vs. Social Networking

By on Jun 19, 2008 in Wisdom | 5 comments

Man is a social animal. Big K is a man. Therefore, Big K is an animal. Wait. Did I miss the word ‘social’? Probably, I’m not social anymore. Because being ‘social’, today, means being on one of the social networking sites. I’m used to people screaming on my face “What?? You’re NOT on Orkut?? Why man??”. This scream follows with an immediate look that would resemble the look you’d have when you spot a cockroach inside your shoe. I smile. I just smile. Because I don’t know what to say. Maybe I’m just totally non-social. Recently, I came up with a short answer to why I’m not on Orkut (or Facebook, or Hi5, or blah). “Because I don’t have time”, looked like a simple answer. But it too attracted strange looks. Well, I did create account on most of the social networking sites out of curiosity, but never used...

Show us the money, stupid!

By on Apr 17, 2008 in Wisdom | 2 comments

Everyone who knows that I am behind CrazyEngieners, asks me this one question –   “How much do you earn from the site?”   When I say “nothing”, I get strange looks. They just cannot understand why this guy puts so much of efforts in running a website that doesn’t earn him a dime. A person (manager) whom I used to report to in my previous company, even spread the word that Big K is going to sell his website for millions and he won’t give a buck to his team mates.   I see that everyone is after those ‘quick bucks’. If you are not making money, there is certainly something wrong with you – is what most of us think. So, shall we always act to make money?   Money is important. Money can make the things happen. However, it is not my focus. I’m focused on creating value. I am doing something that I love to do....
